Marsh Mitigation, LLC is dedicated to the protection, preservation, enhancement, and restoration of critical salt marsh wetlands and their associated habitats and ecosystems. Our real estate portfolio includes rare and valuable coastal properties that have been adversely affected by historical human activity, habitat loss, and environmental changes.

In partnership with state and federal agencies, Marsh Mitigation is pioneering innovative strategies for the protection and regeneration of coastal ecosystems. Using rigorous scientific data and modeling, we assess and monitor ecosystem health to design targeted restoration projects that return these fragile environments to their natural balance.

Our projects focus on removing man-made impairments such as flood control berms, impediments to ecological function resulting from historical agriculture and development activities, and stressors to ecological function to reestablish natural tidal flow and restore hydrological and ecological connectivity with surrounding waterways. We aim to create thriving habitats that foster biodiversity, support native plants and wildlife, and revive declining species to build resilient, self-sustaining ecosystems.
